ok jus washed her today. dried her off then went to a location to snap some shots. looked at the back and it picked up all kinds of dust.

while i was wiping it off it felt like it was 'statically charged' or something.

anyone know how to get rid of this? heh sorry for the super nub question but its a pain. i ran my hand across it and could just feel it. didnt completely go away.


btw if your wondering i used the absorber and some dftowels to dry the car.

 

Go pick yourself up some Meguires Quick Detailer. Kills the static cling (most of it anyways), and looks great!

 

Jet you were right I picked up some the other day and it stopped the static and now I can drive wihtout worrying about the lower portion being black after driving 2 blocks. Also to Fuzion we just had a thread on this:

Fuzion, do you use zaino by chance? Zaino seems to be quite a dust magnet.

 

zxsaint - no have never used Zaino on my car, or anything for that matter. Still winter up here in the NE but as soon spring hits the kit will be ordered.

Ill give that Meguiars spray a shot if my local autozone carries it. I was about to spray some static guard on the car!
