Default Tire Roar

Well guys ... it is now happening to me. 7200 EASY mile on this car and I have the low speed rumble and uneven tire wear on the inner edge of the front tires. I have cruised through the posts on the feathering and there are SO MANY (100+pages).

Quite simply, has NISSAN determined a root cause and is there a definitive fix ?

As much as I love this car, I will sell it in a heart beat if I have to replace front tires every 8000 mile !!!

The consensus seems to that the toe is the culprit and that once that is fixed the tires will not feather, I had mine done last year and so far so good. There is a rumor going around that Nissan will come out with another fix which apperantly might consist of a new control arm.

That would be the smart thing, but if that is for real I can see them not having it adjustable as that would potentialy give them more headaches, whatever it is they seem to have been working on it for some tiume and expect it for the summer, but agin all rumors.

jehjr68 get to your dealer get the new tires ordered now, have them do the flip-flop and alignment. When the new tires come in have them check the alignment again! These tires are on back order because of demand, it will take weeks to get them in!

Do it and then see what happens. We are watchin the new tires. We had them replaced by Nissan. It's okay, but when I replaced the brakes this weekend, my husband and I couldn't figure out if the problem is back. I think it is. Time will tell and they will replace!

Get a print out of before and after alignment for your records. Keep track and feel the tires for the waves every so often.
