It has not been a good time for Zs lately. Seems like everytime I check the forums there are new pictures of Silver Zs being hit and and now the SUV people are going after Red Zs as well.

 

I am not sure if it will make anyone feel better, but to put in perspective, there are tons of fender benders each day. We just happen to post it here every other day. There are alot of Zs out there, and alot of caring owners that immediately feel the pain.

 

Sorry to hear about your z. Don't worry a good bodyshop will bring it back to new at the other guy's expense. My Z got side swiped last week on the same side. Fender, door and back panel need to be replaced........

 

that sucks bro, sorry to hear that. that seems like a lot of damage to get for someone just backing out of a parking spot ?

 

Kinda lucky it was an SUV. Since their bumpers are so high up it only caused body damage. If it was a car it would have bent the suspension. Then again, if it were a car, the driver probably would have seen you.

 

I had a truck back into my rear quarter panel. The body shop did a great job. I would be worried about the piece of crap you have to drive when its getting fixed.

 

hate to see that. At least it appears that the door wasnt hit, like someone already mentioned a fender isnt to big of a deal for a body shop but a door on the other hand.....

As for Z's getting hit alot, maybe it has something to do with how low they are? If your in a big SUV looking back the Z must be hard to see.... I know a couple SUV's have started switching lanes on a collision course for me and swerved back into thier lane before hitting me, didnt see me. Never had that problem in my STS tho...
