Default Buy new or one year old?

I'm just asking for your pro's and con's for buying new vs. buying a Z that is one year old.

I am leaning to buying used for these reasons.

-First year depreciation is the biggest, so I'm saving a ton of money

-I will still have two years left on the factory warranty

One of the only cons I can think of would be getting a car driven by a ****, but here in Canada, the Performance level is the cheapest, and with a price tag of $45,400 Canadian new, I'm sure they would have been cared for properly. What are your thoughts?

Early 2003s had various ills that were cured later.

You don't know how a used Z was treated. (Assumes you don't know owner).

Buy new.

I think if you can truly afford a new Z you wouldnt even ask this question. otherwise you wouldnt care about saving money.

If you can afford new then get the Z new.
Nothing like being the First owner and knowing you put every mile on the car.

No one really wants a used car but if it comes down to the cash
used is the only way to go.

If you plan on keeping the car and not selling it I would go new.

Nothing wrong with a used one as long as it checks out ok.
and I would check it out as best you can.
Good luck

i would only go used for the track model i bet it took a big hit could probably be had for about 28-29k otherwise just get a new performance/enthusiast for the same price. trust us when we tell you that you will spend that 3-4k you saved in new front tires/suspension fixes/tranny replacements. frankly its not worth it

yep, and with all the feathering and other bullcrap problems the 03s had, you will be in trouble. Some dealers are ****** and wont help you out with the feathering if your the 2nd owner

Not necessarily. Several people buy "almost new" cars used so they dont take the hit with the depreciation.
