ok i am still trying to sell my WRX so i can get my Z. But so far it hasn't sold. I was aksing $21,500 for it. It is a 2002 with only 15,000 miles on it. I also had about $8,000 worth of parts of it but i guess no one is willing to pay that. I owe like $19,400 on the car and figured that i could sell the WRX for $19,400 and just pay off the car and use the $2,000 i have saved up for the Z I would be losing a WHOLE lot of money and the price of the Z would still be lower in monthly payments due to the 0.9% financing. So should i try and sell my car for $19,400 or keep trying to sell it for $21,500 ??????

 

Sell the extra parts you added separately and then sell the car for less. You'll never get anywhere near the amount of money you paid for the parts while they're installed in the car. If you sell them separately you'll recoup some of your expenses.

 

What he said. I did this with my last car. It may be a PIA and take some extra time and effort but worth it in the long run.
