For those of you who are not car guys you might want to have a mechanic check your front tires when you take it in for service.

Mine developed a mild case of feathering with about 10,000 miles on it. Local dealer fixed it (I hope) with no fuss.

Not knowing a tire feather from a chicken feather, I had my mechanic check it out on the last service. Yup, it was starting to happen. The signs of feathering are/were not obvious.....at least to me.

hmm....I think this might have been covered before in the, oh say, 125 pages of the tire feathering thread.

 

I'd try and get nissan to replace them before you hit 12000 miles, but that's just me...
