Glue. Then the thieves can mess up your car trying to get it off.

Honestly, there really isn't much that you can do. There was a thread similar to this expressing the same concern as your's... many ideas came up, from greasing the antenna to lightly smothering it in fecal matter.

You just gotta hope that it doesn't get ganked. Price you pay to look good, huh?

Default wouldn't

I wouldn't do it. Like Yobri said, if the thread lock is tough enough to prevent them from removing it they might damage you fender trying (or worse, damage the antenna socket). It's better to let them just take it.

You could tighten it with pliers and a rag. This would make it hard to remove with bare hands. That might prevent a casual pilfer.

But if the crook has any tools at all, my guess is that you are better off it it comes out easily.

I don't know this for sure but I would think threadlocking would negativley affect your reception because then you wouldn't have good clean contact at the connection.

wow, that's just wrong. You sir have gone too far! The way I look at it, if someone is really going to be an *** and steal my antennae, I'd rather fork over the 20 bucks to replace it then fork over 100+ to fix a fender that was damaged when they try to steal it.

That was NOT my suggestion. That was someone else on this board, that I was SIMPLY relaying from another thread.
