Default New rattle

Ok search *****', I already did a search and could not find anything on this specific problem. I had the rattle in my door taken care of, this is a different one. It is coming from my front dash area somewhere on the left side. It is most noticable at slow speeds, it is very persistant, any ideas on what this is?

Default Rattle....

Check out the small round insert on your dash that houses the flashing red light (driver's side dash near windshield). Miine rattled (buzzed) at low RPM's - had to push on it a bit and the rattle stopped. Hope this helps. Jack

Hey, is that "Door Rattle" coming from the passenger side door? And does it kinda sound like a small piece of light metal vibrating against another piece of metal?

I have a rattle like that and it drives me insane!!! It has this higher pitched pinging sound to it as if it's on springs or something. Annoying as heck!

what is the story on the door rattle? I know it has to be a common problem. My thinking is it is the pin on the door that inserts into the car body when shut to hold it in place. It is a metal pin going into a metal pocket, so to speak, and it isn't a tight enough fit and it knocks around a bit every so often. Is this the rattle you've had and what did they do? I've wrapped the pin in tape to try to minimize the amount of movement and give some cushion and it has helped...but wondering if there is a legitimate fix for this...

The plastic panels on the door rattle. I've heard putting some dynamat in between the contact points will fix it, but haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

The small plastic pieces on the rt and left side of the top of the dask board tend to rattle. Put your hand on top of them and see if the buzz stops.

I just got the buzz/rattle on my mirror. If I squeeze it, it goes away.

My small circular vents on the R&L side of the dash rattle until they warm up/expand, and sometimes even then. More of a "buzzing vibration" sound. Been into them 3 times, can't seem to get it right though. Trying again this weekend. If you determine that's where it's coming from, check back, I'll let you know if I have any luck.
