Default help :(

I finally got word that my tires had arrived at the dealership after the long awaited two months that they were on backorder. These are the two front tires they ordered for my 2004 touring that had the dreadful tire feathering problem. So I was excited about that... take the car in at 8:00 am... get it back at 5:00 pm and WOW everything was great... sound was gone... wasnt pulling.... yeah...

Well i stop to pump some gas... and decide to take a look at the rims. Sure enough... there are HUGE scratches all the way around the lip of the rim... gashes... deep cuts... and a circular scratch around the center cap. Its like the machine they used to take the tires off completely butchered my rims! So i take it back to the dealership and I talk to the service manager and he tells me that the dealership didn't do the work... they sent the car to a third party company to do the tire switch because their machine cannot handle 18'' rims/tires. So im like... ok??? what does that have to do with my rims being butchered? This is a 2004... i didnt spend 30+ thousand dollars for a car that sounds like a truck... and the only fix costed me severe damage to my front rims.

He told me to go home and come back tomorrow... he will ride ith me to the company and see whats up???

HELP!!! what should I do??

I had the same thing happen, but I found the damage before I left the dealership and made them put it on the work order that my wheels were damaged before I left.

It doesn't matter to you if the dealer or their subcontractor damaged the wheels, ultimately the dealer is responsible because you had no direct relationship with the tire place. If the tire place doesn't fix it, the dealer should.

It wasn't your fault they gave the work to somebody else.

I had the same thing happen and I had to raise hell until it was taken care of. If it doesn't go well after the drive to the shop, give NNA a call and complain like hell. I also talked to the sales manager and told him that I was going to have to make future purhcases at a different dealership if this was the kind of service I could expect. I have purchased a total of 6 nissans from them over the years, that was probably the most effective bitching I did to get it resolved because they know I would be back for more in the future.
