18" wheels
Just heard that my Blue ZR which was to come in this week was so badly damaged in transit that Nissan is having to buy it back. So, I can now claim a Blue ZR to be produced in April, but with 18" wheels- not a part of my original order. What are the pros and cons of 18" wheels (at $1200 greater cost, of course)? Should I go for it? And, it seems like I shouldn't pay full price for it. I have no choice.
I personally prefer the look of the 17s (size wise). But were you trying to get an Enthus and now they have a Touring? Or is this an Enthus with 18s? If it's a Touring, I doubt they'll come down much more than the $1200, but if it's another Enthus, definitely try to get them to come down. They may not be able to since the dealership didn't damage it, but you never know. Definitely give it a shot.
This was to be and remains a TouringZR. I just hadn't thought to order the bigger wheels and now am put in the position of having to do so to get it all. I just don't why I'd want the bigger wheels and what I should pay to get it. $1200 seems like a lot of money to get 1" more diameter.
Make sure you are getting the same transmission package. Because the autos come with 17's and the manual comes with 18's. If you are getting a manual with 18's it should cost the same as an auto with 17's. Use this to haggle if you have to, but don't pay more.
