How do you tell if your model is one of the above?

sofar from what i read in US forum is that anything made after june 2003 is the 2004 model. Is this correct?
Mine coming is made december 2003 so am I to assume that is 2004 model with bit of updated interior and stuff.

does anyone have a link to a webpage that has a screen shot of the difference between the 2003 and 2004?

The look exactly the same on the outside. Its the inside that is different. Seatbelt extender, knee pads, the nav door doesnt slide in, etc.

what doesn't slide in!!! hmm thats no good so from what i have seen if it didn't slide in it was like at 90% right angle... thats no good. i was hoping the newer model had the slide in function

Easy. Look at the VIN number.

 

they told me that it was made december 2003 so it should be 2004 model.. thing is i spent 2 minute in the car before i signed! LOL all up spent 2hours before I got my signature next to their doc. i knew i wanted z so...

 

I know the feeling. I would've only spent about 2 minutes at the dealership (would've skipped the test drive) had they started with numbers that I liked.
