Default ***** crawling all over my Z

... you perverts, I'm talking about my girlfriend's cats... Anyone have any suggestions to keep them off the car (non-lethal methods)... Trust me, I've already come up with numerous methods that don't end well for her kitties. .243 bullet to the cranium, long walk off a short pier... Not an option, unfortunately - if any of you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
Getting rid of her is an option I'd rather not explore, I'll post pics of her on here soon and you'll see why I'm loathe to go that route.

Thanks.

they got this stuff at petsmart that you can spray. The all natural stuff is mostly garlic and the others have some volatile ketone. Cats dont like it, and soon enough the cat remembers that the hood etc sucks. Unfortunately, the **** stinks and keeps ME away too! Not sure what it would do to paint.

How about you get a guard dog...or drum roll please........................car cover...

Car cover's your best answer...keep the cat/cats inside during the day, throw the cover on at night and then let them out.

Go to Petsmart (or wherever) and get the keep off spray, spray it onto a towel and place the towel on the hood or roof. They will quickly learn to stay off the car and you can stop using the (evil smelling) stuff. It will work. By using a towel you don't have to worry about your paint.

LOL

Go over the car with Zaino
LOL.

Just wait till the go near your car and shake a can full of loose change. They'll associate the sound with going near your car, and they won't do it anymore.

That causes them to just try to dig in the claws as they fall. I've had that experience, and had to buff out scratches. Not a good answer

My last house had no garage, and I had a serious feral cat problem. One morning I got into the car and backed out of the carport, going all the way into the road. As I turned my head and looked forward, I discovered the cats had left me a little "present" right on the wipers. That was the beginning of the end of the cats. Before I moved, I had trapped and hauled off 13 cats to the shelter. Mean little things, too.

Spill some antifreeze near your home. Cats love licking this stuff. There you have it, no more cat problem. Accidents happen. J/K.

Antifreeze will permanently rid you of your problem BTW. DO NOT ATTEMPT AT HOME.

Get a car cover.

Get in the car while the cat is on it and rev the crap out of it. It will run away in horror and be afraid of the car forever...problem solved.

Default few suggestions

few suggestions:

(1) Put a generous amount of rat posion in the cats drinking bowl.
(2) Get a pitbull to protect your car.
(3) Put some aluminum foil on the car, as cats hate to walk on it and soon they won't even approach the car. That's how I get the pussies off my bike.

now that I think of it, I would squirt the cat with a hose while it was sleeping and the worked well. No more cat. Wont even go near it!

you may want to try unleashing your "man batter" on the car ... this is guaranteed to deter cats but is irresistable to any woman
