Default A couple cool things

I have 2300 miles on my Z now, including three trips of 8+ hours. Besides the obvious pros like the power, the handling, and the styling, there are a couple small things about my 350Z that I find pretty cool:

1. Hold down the unlock button on the key fob for 2 seconds and the windows will roll down.

2. Adjust the cruise control in 1 mph increments by quickly tapping the Accel/Coast button up or down. Works perfectly with the digital speedo selected in the trip computer display.

Anyone have other things to add?

Thanks BracketHead I didn't know about the auto window roll down, I just tried it on my Pathfinder and it works, RUUUULEZ!!!

BTW Is there a way to get them to go back up with the key fob, I tried holding down the lock button but no luck.

Also, I don't know if you knew this but when you turn the engine off and take the key out of the ignition, if the doors haven't been opened yet you can still roll up the windows.

Thanks for the tips!! I must admit I'm lazy and 'don't seem to want to get around to reading the book. Does anyone know what all the buttons on the rear view mirror do? I'm afraid if I push something the local police might show up.

The buttons w/ the "house" on them are for the "homelink". Using the pamphlet that came w/ your owner's manual, you can program these buttons to open your garage door or turn on the lights in your house. This way you don't have to clutter up your interior with garage door remotes.

The other button will turn the "Auto-Dim" feature on your rearview mirror on or off- I never turn this thing off- it does an amazing job of cutting down the glare from those stupid SUV headlights that shine right in your eyes.

If you hold down both lock and unlock on the key fob for about 5 seconds you can turn of the "horn honk on lock" feature. You can turn it back on using the same proceedure. You'll see your hazards flash about 3 times if successful.

Default Keyless Entry Remote Options?

What options are on the keyless remote? My celica only has Lock/Unlock/Panic, and my mom's car has Lock/Unlock/Trunk/Panic.

Roll down windows? So it's like if you hold the unlock button, the windows go down? Can they go back up?

I think the way it works is once they start rolling down they keep going until you release the button. Not necessarily just halfway or all the way.

Way cool about using the key to roll 'em up!
