Default Finally broken in!!!

Hi guys, I don't post much but read alot here but I just wanted to say I finally passed the break in period (2000kms) and i'm gradually bringing up the revs 4500 rpms, 5000rpms etc. Man, it's sweeeeeet!!!! i still have another 1600rpms to see up top

but honestly, I've never driven any car with this much hp and torque before and this thing honestly scares me. I previously own a Integra Type R which most of you know has really crappy torque rating so this is a big change for me.

Now i can travel in 3rd gear and whoop some measly s2k's..... hehe

Do you drive F1 cars on the street, on a daily basis? I don't think so. (reliability)

Congrats N1-R. Don't let that guy bother you.

I’m with AV630 here. He’s not really flaming you. So sensitive...

soupnazi1, did you even read the article; it’s pretty good. not to say N1-R broke it in "wrong," but some people just prefer the "tuner" break-in. if you read the article, it’s supposedly more reliable then the normal break-in. but if you do a search on this subject, it’s pretty damn controversial. so I say...it’s all up to you! which ever you’re more comfortable with.

congrats N1-R

i didn't totally babied it during break-in period, i still brought it up beyond 4k rpms once in a while but just not as often as the "tuner" method. You could say I combined both the "tuner" method and the manual suggested break-in during my break-in period.

Went WOT in 4th gear in relatively low rpms tonite and this thing still hauls. I love it but I and I guess everyone should drive carefully with this car cause it can get you in trouble FAST.

Drive safe everyone!
