I know many manual Zs have tranny problems. Mine just went today at 15,500 miles. It doesnt want to stay in gear. Wonders in neutral, downshifts when going at a steady speed. Its going crazy! The AT check light flashs. I will find out what the real problem is Monday when the tech looks at it. It goes to show Nissan trannys suck! Even the auto.

Talked to the service guy and they are going to put in a new tranny. Good thing the powertrain is warrantied to 5yr 60k miles. Lets see how long this lasts.

 

anyone with mods (exhaust intake headers) have a problem with gettin a tranny/tires replaced under warranty b/c of the mods?

 

Dont need a new tranny! The ecu was reseted and like magic, back to normal! My baby is back!
