With the existing aftermarket, is there a safe way to lower the compression to say, 9:1? Strictly for FI of course ;-)

Pistons, or a thicker hear gasket. The last one is kind of ghetto, but it works....

Well, I should have explained a little more. The corect way would be pistons, not just throwing a thicker head gasket on to lower the comp. Many Honda guys do this.....I would say if you wanted to lower 1 point or less a custom made gasket would be fine. Anything else and I would say get some pistons. For example I wouldnt take a car with 11:1 comp and want to lower it to a turbo car like 8:1 with just a gasket. But for a slight increase or decrease it will be ok. I had a custom copper headgasket made for my old car only $130...

what are the downsides to this? I know alot of single turbo supra owners that have gone the gasket route? Seems like the cheapest way.
