17th ANNUAL ZCCA NATIONAL CONVENTION
STILLEN announces Official Sponsorship of the
2004 Annual ZCCA National Z Car Convention
June 14th – 20th, 2004
Hosted by Group Z Sports Car Club, Inc.
STILLEN is proud to announce their Official Sponsorship of the 17th Annual ZCCA National Z Car Convention, hosted by Group Z Sports Car Club, Inc. The event, to be held June 14th – 20th, 2004 in Long Beach, CA also coincides with the 35th Anniversary of the Z Car. This year’s convention will include a host of events and activities for Z enthusiasts to participate in including a Willow Springs Track Day.
Group Z has arranged a spectacular track day for Nissan & Infiniti Enthusiasts at Willow Springs on Thursday, June 17th. For the very modest price of $135 ($100 Big Track, $35 Autocross Track), registered drivers receive lap time on both the Big Track and Autocross Track at Willow Springs International Raceway. ZCCA is also offering a parade lap for only $20. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many. Do not miss this event! There is only room for 300 drivers but plenty of room for spectators. If you plan to drive, be sure to bring your Snell 95 or better helmet (Motorcycle Helmets not permitted) and your car (good condition Nissan & Infiniti only) to enjoy a great day at the track. Restaurant and Gift Shop will be open.
“Test your driving skills at the Willow Springs Raceway, "The Fastest Track in the West", where John Morton holds the track record for a GT car. Steve Millen, Bob Bondurant, and John Morton have been invited to join us. The auto cross will be on the "Streets of Willow", a smaller but still rather fast track. This Track Day will include all levels of experience, from Novice to SCCA licensed drivers.” For more information and to register for this event at Willow Springs, be sure to visit GROUPZ.COM . You will be able to download the correct registration forms and the address for mailing in payment or by using paypal (the account is under treasurer@groupz.com).
If the track day is not enough, you may also register for the weeklong convention through GroupZ's Website. This will allow you to participate in all of the festivities. The convention’s itinerary includes a guided tour of STILLEN, Santa Monica Mountain drive, Car show at Nissan Headquarters, and much more! In addition, Mr. K, the father of the Z car will take part in the festivities.
