Default VA/MD - Where to get a good picture?

I'm trying to find a location to get very nice pictures. The only places I can think of would be good for profressional looking pictures would be in Tysons garage.

If anyone in the area knows a spot where I can park and get some very nice pictures, which would be sent into companies, please post. Thanks guys.

Ricky,

A couple of thoughts....

If you want some pictures that are very "scenic", I recommend Gravely Point park. It's just off the north end of Reagan national airports North/South runway. If you catch it on a day when the winds are from the north, you could get some AMAZING shots of the car with jets in steep climbs on takeoff behind the car. The jets are so close, they almost seem like they'll hit ya on landing.

Reston Town Center in front of the fountain but good luck on getting no one else in the picture, I took pics of the Advan Model 5s I sold and that was the spot. Great Falls is also a great location for pics, especially moving. Lansdowne Resort is a nice looking location too.

Actually count to think of it Reston Town Center has a lot of spots that would look nice, be sure to post the pics when you take em

anywhere in DC with something historic in the background would be a nice back drop. Also, with the cherry trees ready to bloom, if you could get an angle with those and the potomac, that would be really sweet

whats up ricky.... this is the other Ricky you met at the Evolution meet...

hmm here's some nice places for scenic pics:
-Pohick Bay Regional Park-- right off of route 1 its called Mason Neck Road i think and its a beautiful drive, you turn left into the park and it takes you down right on the water... its one of my favorite places...

-*** communications place in the heart of springfield... makes a very "industrial" looking backdrop... and lake accotink is right there...

-Fountainhead regional park... (im gonna go take pics this weekend, they'll speak for themselves)

but i think you'll like Mason Neck (pohick river) the best, its a great place... enjoy! hit me up maybe we can cruise down there together

Go to the top of the Macy's Garage at Crystal City. You'll have the whole city as a back drop.
OR
GW parkway, all kinds of nice pulloffs
OR
If you dont mind the drive and cant sleep, leave around 2:30am head down 66 west to the Front Royal exit and follow the signs to the Skyline Dr. Blast through the toll booth because no one it there. Go South but watch out for the deer. Your probably going to drive threw some clouds. Basically your going to be driving the twisties at night (serious fun) and seriously watch for deer. After about 45-1 hour you will pass route 211 and that is good because then in about 1 1/2 miles you will go through a tunnel and once you get out of the tunnel pull off to the left and enjoy the sunrise. It is really amazing!! On a good sunrise you will be above the cloud line and all you will see is the sun rise above the mountain peaks breaking through the clouds.
Also
For a good drive that is closer, cruise down 95 to the Quantico exit (50 I think) and go away from the base. It's joplin road (rt 619)
Happy Trails.
