I felt that the car was real smooth at my speed (129), but I was concerned, too, with a tire blow. However, I got really concerned when I passed the only other car on the Turnpike when I was going 129 and he/she must've been going 75 in the right lane. I was hoping the driver wouldn't merge!

I’ve only hit about 110.

But what I really enjoy doing often is hitting 100 on on-ramps to the interstate. It’s the perfect spot; ever seen a radar set-up on an on-ramp? When traffic is light I launch from a complete stop and am over 100 by the time I merge onto the interstate.

It’s really fun to watch people’s expression as I blow by them into traffic at 100+.

top speed is suposedly 157....i said 160ish...and the speedo shows a couple a mph fast so it was burried..i never hit the limiter though..i dont have the ts ecu yet as i want to get all my mods on it and drive it there so i dont have the issues of sending it back numorous times......
but thats how people are getting past the 160 mark

but then again my maxima was sposed to have a limiter at 142 and it was well over 150 before my ecu on it......and a little above the 160 mark with the ecu

I know where 183 is , I can see you doing 140 there late at night. Twice a year I have to go to austin for business. Cool city.

About 25mph on the blvd with the windows down ... the girlies can't admire you if you're traveling at a buck fifty.

The last time I responded to a thread like this the speed was 110. Because I'm a chickensh*t. Well all that change last Sunday am when I was heading home from grocery shoping. An M3 passed me I was going about 70 at the time. I came up along side him at around 85. (5th gear) We were traveling in the I-64 W carpool lanes in Norfolk, VA. A van was in his lane so I backed off a bit and he punched it. He came over to the left so I followed him. He didn't seem to be getting away from me. I glanced at the speed....123. Chickensh*t time! I backed off.

Regards!

159 on numerous occasions on interstate. My electronic speedo will not go any higher but the car never really feels like its cutting out or anything. Even at that speed the car is still really stable and I always feel completely in control.
