How do you tie down the Z?
For shipping or for dyno?
I was at a dyno shop last night and we didn't do a pull because we could only find one tie down on the rear. It was at the left rear, near the bumper. Yes we do know about the screw in hook at the front.
The guy suggested tying to some of the suspension parts, but the owner's manual says not to do this. I suppose it would be all right if you tied it to where the joint of the suspension is and not to the links and arms.
InternetAbyss, I saw your pic of the shipping truck, but I couldn't see more than one chain -- do you remember seeing this?
Tako, or any of you guys at Yuichi's shop, what did you do?
We did end up doing a pull with a 1990 NA Z. Tie down couldn't be easier with 4 easily accessible hooks, one at each corner of the car.
