Actually, I'm probably not supposed to know this....but only because you asked:

Cotton - high heat
Permanent press - medium high heat
Normal cycle - medium heat
Delicates - low heat
Air fluff - no heat

All laundry dryers are somewhat different...but I think in short what the directions on the cover mean....is that anything hotter than permanent press may damage the cover or plastic just as you were thinking. If you want to play it safe...I see no reason you can't dry it on "normal" or even "low" heat. Additionally, because of the static which may build in the material...I'd be careful not to wash and dry with anything else...you may have a magnetic nightmare and put more lint etc...on your car when you cover it than what you are keeping off!

Not knocking it...but like the Nissan cover better. Also paid only about $105 for it!

I talked one of the sales guys into ordering it under his account at his cost (around $165) and then used these dealership "dollars" I got upon it's purchase which was another $60.00. So in the end it cost me $5 plus tax.

Best value I'll probably get out of Nissan ever...so not complaining. I really like the cover also. Fits very nice, well stitched, lightweight, washable, and has a nice Z logo on it as well.

I always *****...but with this I am happy.
