To some people an exta $10k is nothing... He/she probably makes that much per month. Although, if he came in and fashed the cash and they sold him/her someone elses pre-ordered that's a bit !@$!*% up and I'd be pissed.

If any dealer can be caught selling a customer's preordered car, I think they should be sanctioned by Nissan and sued by the customer for breach of contract. Any such dealer does not belong in Nissan's system, it reflects very badly on their image and their image is all-important if they want to continue being a multi-national corporation. They have made great strides with Renault's assistance in recent years but it won't last if they have many dealers who continue to alienate their largest customer base, the U.S.

Getting rid of bad dealers is one of the steps Nissan is probably analyzing data from this and other forums along with other sources, NNA, BBB,etc. to begin their process. If Carlos G. can excise 1/3 of Nissan's system in Japan, he can certainly do it in this country as well if the customer base demands it. A considerable number of these bad dealers could be casualties in the process, if their customers continue to speak out. Screwing your customers is the quickest way to lose your franchise I know and what Nissan doesn't cut, the low level economy will.

Boomer Babble--use it or lose it, I don't care.
