I got my Z in Nov 02 (and I still LOVE it). The other day my driver's side window stopped working. It's at the shop today and they have to order a new window motor because they said the one that's in there now keeps cutting out (but they don't know why). I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if this is just a fluke in my case. This is the first problem I've had with the car (no tire feathering as yet, but did get the new Bose amp from Nissan).

 

A while back, when the search function was working, I had done a search on a problem with my window not dropping an inch after openning the door. I seem to remember several threads mentioning a problem with the window motors and at the time, the motors were on back order due to so many that needed to be replaced. Motors seemed to be failing for many people.

Sorry, can't comment from personal experience.
