Was there any kind of storage in the console? It sounds like the design is very dissappointing.....

The key was not like the in the "stimulation" . The looked like a regular auto key, black rubber outside end, with an ID chip.

There was some storage in the front half of where the cup holders were. .. and a couple areas behind the seats, directly behind and above the console.

Scaf: That little lid just in front of the Hazard button looks like it would be an ash tray doesn't it?

Yes, it does. Maybe Nissan will have a travellers coffee mug shaped to fit into the ashtray.

Or better yet...

Maybe my350z.com will have one!

Great job 6K, but what is your opinion of the cockpit layout for an average sized driver, say about 5 foot four inches tall. Will I have to sit on a cushion?

Also, does it have a spare, or is it like the M Coupe?

hey 6k........again great write up........as u mentioned the rear brace bar in the back takes up some space.......my question 2 u is, do u think there is room for a pair of 15" subs in the back hatch????........i would appreciate it......thanks........

You could probably install a box aft of the brace, but you would have very little room for anything else. There would be some room in front of and under the brace to store a small bag and odds and ends.

Sorry, but I suck. I forgot to look for the spare. DOH! It was like drinking from a fire hose trying to absorb everything in the time I had, some things just got by me. There is no way that I can figure out the if you would need a cushion. Sorry

Default Spare tire

Well I have no idea how accurate this sketch is, but it shows a spare:

Default Question on hatch space

Thanks for all the info 6klaunch, you rock!

I got another question about the rear hatch space. I saw the car close up at the Dallas auto show, but I was wondering if I could get your opinion too. I play ice hockey, and I'm trying to figure out how the hell I'm gonna fit my bag and sticks in this car!

Do you think a bag that's about 40" X 15" X 15" and soft could fit either under the strut brace bar, or completely in front of it at the back of the car? Having to put my bag as my passenger would suck, but it's not enough to keep me from my Z!

...and i have no idea where to put my sticks, d'oh...

Default Tire pressure gauges on performance and track models

I haven't read any discussion about the tire pressure gauge yet, so I'll try here... Have any of you seen where the tire pressure gauge is? Is it just a light that appears near somewhere on the instrument panel when pressure is low or is it an actual number that appears for each tire?

thanks

Lets just say it will be a real tight fit. I looked at it from the perspective of a golf bag and comcluded that I would have to slide it in, bottom of the bag first because the club heads would be difficult to get through. I think you would be able to slide your bad in first and then try to get the stick over the top of the bag, and under the brace. Or close the hatch and lay the stick over the top of the brace.

If you have goalie gear, forget it, the bag will never fit!!! You would have to take the pads out of the bag and place them where ever they could be stuffed. Your car will smell like hell, but you could get there.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I didn't even think about this, but will having stuff in the hatch obstruct your rearview? That would suck, but I'll get over it...

Anything placed on top of the brace will obstruct your view.
