I ordered the Frost interior. One question: What is the color of door panel and carpet? Is it the same color as the interior picture at Nissandriven.com, one with the Burnt Orange leather seat. I wish for a medium grey instead of near black.

The door panel and carpet were colored frost also. (light grey)

 

The driver never ingaged the manual mode, sorry. It is however identical to the G35 shifter, that has a seperate gate for manual mode, slap forward for downshift, slap back for upshift. It works well for gear selection, but you still will lose HP in the torque converter.

 

hmm...i didn't think that they were going to do that. i remember hearing somewhere that it was going to be all black, then just the leather a different color. I wonder what they'll do with the Burnt Orange?

Thanks!!! I hope for medium grey so there is some contrast with the seat. But light grey on the door is better than black or near black, especially in Texas.

I think what you heard is based on what people see on the official Nissan picture, including the brochure, and model at auto show, where the leather seat is burnt orange and door panel and carpet are black. This is the first time someone saw Frost leather seat. I am glad to get lighter color interior. BTW, did you order burnt orange leather seat?

Well, I ordered a Blue one with the Frost leather interior. I didn't realize this much would be in the frost color. I don't know whether to be worried or not.....

no, i was actually saying that i'm not sure what will happen to the colour on the dash with the orange seat, personally i like the light grey A LOT and i hope the orange interior won't come with a dark dash. and as i was thinking about it yesturday night, i don't think nissan will spend that much money to have 2 colour of dash for different seat~

All recent interior pictures from Nissan have burnt orange seat, including the auto show cars. So, I'd say whatever color of the dash (black/dark grey), door panel, carpet in those picture will be the color in the production car.

In your opinion, would 1 golf bag fit in the trunk? Could you not fit it horizontally without going underneath the strut brace?

Doesnt the touring model have 18" Rims?

The on our way to the restaurant, the driver took a couple curves and the car was like on rails even with the 17 inch tires. The suspension was very firm, controlled and quiet. The car didn't have a squeek or rattle. We got on the freeway and accelerated with a confirming growl from the engine, very nice. The engine note was not pressent until aggressive throttle was applied. The 17 Bridgestone tires were very quiet at speed.

2)Does a cassette player come with the touring package/automatic?
3)Does Xenon headlights come in this model?
4)Have you seen the silverstone with burnt orange leather? If so, how does it look?
