Default "fairlady Z" badge... what type of adhesive?

Hey guys,

I just picked up a fairlday Z badge, but it doesn't come with adhesive... what should I be using for this, and where can I get it?

(sorry if this has been asked... but search function is still down)

I bought mine Fairlady Z badge from Performance Nissan and it did come with adhesive on it. It even had a template. I was very easy to put it on. Order one from Performance Nissan. It was only $19.50 so I bought 2.

Use 3M double sided adhesive foam tape. Available at any hardware or auto parts store for mounting emblems. It has red peel off plastic over the sticky side, and comes in different widths. You will probably need an Exacto type knife for neatly, and carefully, trimming around the edges. Great stuff specifically made for this purpose.

strife,

not to insult you or anything, but are you sure that there is no adhesive? i have never heard of anyone selling an emblem without the adhesives in the back. was it used?

does it have the blue foam template attached to it? if so, then it should have the adhesive.

if you are sure there is no adhesive, like ssk said performance nissan sells them cheap. you could get one with the adhesive on them and it has a built in template. it would be a pain in the butt lining them up one by one otherwise. tricky to get them all straight if you do it one by one.

thanks for the input guys

ragtopz: no offense taken... the badge was given to me for free, because my friend decided to go back to the USDM badge... when he was taking the JDM badge off his car though, the fishing line completely destroyed the adhesive on the back. I'm going to try the 3M double-sided tape route, but if it's too much trouble, I guess I just wont' bother installing it
