El Diablo, sorry about your car getting stolen! j/k
Actually I remember a thread about a year or so ago where someone was asking which "non essential" parts he could sell off his car because he needed the money to make his payments. Maybe he decided to go through with it.
In any event, I like the weight saving "spare tire/drivers seat" modification that he did. Smart, very smart.

I think the reason there are 300Z wheels on it is because the original ones were...stolen. As Roger pointed out, the wheel in the pic above is functioning as the seat.
I guess they had to put some wheels on it so that it could still be driven around. Sounds like it's in running condition.
Sounds like a good buy for 8500 dollars.
My god, look at the rest of the cars on that site...some sad sad pics.

Yeah, although it would look crazy as hell, it would be fun to smoke some cars in that hollowed out shell of a Z. You could even smoke everyone else's Z's because of the weight reduction. I'd laugh my *** off if I saw this thing at the track!

He cant steal parts they can trace cause you cant reuse them...His best bet would be to find that car and buy it for 8500 so all the numbers are his and then use the stolen parts to rebuild it...
anyways how much you think it would cost to rebuild it..

for 8500 if it still has all the essentials thats a steal especially if you are building a show car since youll be replacing that stuff. its already got room for new seat, dash, custom doors, these guys did you a favor and did half the work on a project. just sucks that its got a salvage title!
