A big factor is how you and the other drivers drive. I believe people on here have beaten Cobras stock.

Your question is too broad. You need to be more specific as said above.

How about the 03 Cobra's and the ZO6? Lets say in the event that the drivers are equally matched?

Don't ever even dream of beating a ZO6. In the right hands they are rated at a sub 4 second 0-60 (3.9) to be exact. That's faster than a 911 turbo if I'm not mistaken. For the amount of money it would take to beat the Z06 you could have bought the Z06 and had a ton of money to pay for insurance and driving school to boot.

Sorry,

Basically I'm trying to decide if an investment in FI would prevent humiliation.

I have read many posts about folks adding FI, but not many that provide anything but a dyno result.

Can a FI 350Z run with the cream of the crop?

I can think of several FI Z's on these forums that can probably hang with/beat Z06's. People act like the Z06 is impossible to conquer. 400+ whp should be enough to give them a nice run.

The Top Secret 350Z Turbo was pushing 700 horsepower and the kit should be coming to the states soon

Skidazzle is running more rwhp than the Z06 puts at the crank. More than likely a properly tuned FI'd Z will pull on a stock z06 or cobra. However I would think a modded cobra or z06 will pull the displacement card on the Z.
