Just picked up my Brickyard 6MT, Spoiler, Nav, Frost Leather tonight. So far no problem with the Bose nose. No front pate. What a color in the sun, gold metal flakes then fads to black in the shade. The engine is so fast to 4000 RPMs I feel like all I am doing is shifting. It just wants to run. After getting my first VIN unit damaged in transit the extra wait for a replacement make this day all the sweeter.

 

Congratulations on an excellent car and an excellent color choice. I thought the Brickyard would be fairly unpopular, so what's the deal with the Bay Area. We seem to have a high concentration of them. Do we all just have excellent taste?

We must have the highest concentration of Brickyards of any other area in the US.

We just have damn fine taste or lucky guess...either way the color rocks!

 

I'm another Bay Area Brickyard Brother (although I don't get mine for a month). Maybe we should all get together for some pics??

 

Don't forget us in the heartland. I ordered my Brickyard/Frost leather/AT 2/11/02 and received it 9/6. The color is simply amazing in its response to different lighting. I couldn't be more pleased at the reaction to it, even at the dealership! Half the credit union staff bailed out of their offices to see it. I began to recall "Gone in 60 Seconds", but that is gone. Now I am getting thumbs up from other performance car owners, except the German ones. Interesting, huh?

I'm another Bay Area Brickyard in waiting. I would love to see a Brickyard in person, especially one with Frost interior. I live in Belmont, work in San Jose. I promise not to drool too much.
