Default Passanger Airbag

Does anyone know if the passanger side airbag can be turned off, so children can ride in it. If not I think I will need to go to the G35 coupe.

Posted by ZISME several months ago, it doesn't have a key shutoff switch, like most pickups, but the service department can permanently shut it off.

I doubt they're allowed to permanantly shut it off. They should be able to install a cutoff switch which I would like to get so I can carry around my neice and nephew. But how hard is that going to be? I picked up a brochure about it at the DMV and it sounds like you may have to go through a bunch of nonsense to get it approved.....

that is ZISME's answer, so I guess you are right, they will add a switch. Never paid much attention to this one because it doesn't apply to me.

Default passenger side airbags

This was a question posed to me by one of my customers, there is no cut-off switch... That was confirmed to me by our regional rep. He said that you can go through a bunch of paperwork from the DMV to get approval to have it turned off permanently but that would be the only way.
Hope this helps,
Tiff
