I ran into the same crap when I first got my Z. It's just jealousy. I got it mostly from rednecks too. Most are narrow minded die-hard domestic owners. I also had a few LS1 driving co-workers that use to give me a hard time. They would call it a rice-burners and **** like that. The funny part about is that one tried to go buy one for himself and the other went out and traded in his 02 Z28 for an Altima. Now I give them ****. Most people who talk **** about Japanese cars have never driven much less owned one. The guy with the Altima loves it. Now he finally broke down and tells me how sweet my Z is. I know it had to kill him to finally free his mind and accept that Z is a sweet car. Don't worry about those narrow minded ignorant fools.

 

Yeah I get it too. I`m in a town about an hour East of Vancouver, and it`s a redneck ground zero. Pulling in front, cutting me off. Funny, they don`t seem to want to race though.
Here it seems a lot of people determine manhood by how high a lift or how big the tires on your 4X4 are. Pathetic.
