Default pics of 2-tone aftermarket leather... as promised.

i had these seats installed today at Texas Auto Tops (off of I35E and Valley View).

The kit is from Katzkin... total installed (with tax) was about $865.
This is with the upgrade to blue threads, and the SRS logo on the side (where the airbag is...)

2 tone vs. single tone is no diff in price. They did, however, charge a little more, since my headrest came also with a blue front.. They had to also throw in an all black one with blue threads.

Enjoy the pics.

That looks very nice. I've ordered my Z with cloth seats so I may be upgrading to leather (once I finish paying off the car)

thanks for posting the pictures!

Thumbs up

Bad ***! Is your car clean? I'm thinking about going to wash mine and I want to see those seats. I go to Dave's 5 Star behind the Mobil over by the CCCC.

Awesome work!

Mine are getting done next week. Black leather, tan UltraSuede centers, and tan front stitch.
Getting them from Stitchcraft in Westminster, CA.

Just when I was wondering what flavor of **** I could download through kazaa tonight, I stumbled across these pics...
I've found my fantasy.
Damn those seats look good...
"You shore do got purty seats, boy."
Sort of a deliverance/masturbatory joke... that leather looks NICE.
Congrats.

How easy was it for them to install the seats? I figure there is some zipper to "unskin" the seats.

Namely, could the installation be done at home?

Those turned out great! Texas Auto Tops did mine as well, was very impressed with their work. They showed me how they installed it. Basically they cut into the cloth seats removed them. The new leather basically came in three already stiched pieces...headrest, back, bottom. I'm assuming after they slip them on they fasten it down, stretch it, etc....not sure how they do that though. It only took them two hours to do mine. Ofcourse this is after they receive the leather all ready to install. Trust me the two-tone looks great in the Z.....

Would love to check out the blue as well....when our the Dallas folks getting again? I'd be game this weekend..PM me!
