AKA Rally! A "Rally" from Philadelphia, PA to L.A California!
What AKA Rally is:
AKA RALLY is not a race. It is 6 day, 6 night outrageous cross-country road rally
extravaganza. It is driving the hottest (or coolest) fastest (or slowest) cars from Philadelphia to LA, stopping every night to party
at the hottest clubs and the hippest, yet unpretentious hotels ever. AKA Rally spawned off the idea off "The Players Run" (www.playersrun.com) and
"Gumball 3000", which both are races from one coast of the country to other end of the country.
On the way we will stop at major cities such as Memphis, Dallas, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, and finally Los Angeles.
When:
AKA Rally will begin on June 12 and take place through the 17th. This will be a 6 night and 6 day run..
Affordable?
The AKA Rally only costs $1,500 per car (PLEASE PM.. I can work out the price for you!!!), for up to two drivers. Thats only $750 each! Each additional driver is $200 for up to four total. This includes entrance fee, prizes, hotels, parties, and many other “surprises.” We also allow two bikes for $1,500 total.
You may reserve your spot in the AKA Rally with a $150.00 non-refundable deposit.
In other words, by placing a deposit, you are guaranteed the opportunity to make the remaining payment and participate in the AKA Rally. You will have the option to change your car, co-driver(s) and other registration information as much as needed before the event begins.
Special Features:
On this run, Teckademics as well as a few other major companies will be shooting 3 movies which will be released on DVD later this year. On top of this, we will
also be shooting 2 music videos for some of the worlds most famous rap stars. These rap stars include Jay-Z, 50 cent, The Lox, G-Unit, Fat Joe, JadaKiss,
Busta Rhymes, and many more! All these stars WILL BE attending the race. You will be able to meet and hang out with these multi-platinum record label holders,
and party with them!
Parties
Each night, in every location, AKA Rally will host an exclusive party at one of the hottest dance clubs, and casinos in each city. At these parties you will experience free admission, and VIP treatment. The final party will be unlike anything you have ever experienced, with well-known celebrities.

I have been on the mailing list for this rally for about 6 months. They dont seem to be able to get enough participants. The cutoff date was supposed to be like 2 months ago, but they keep extending it. As far as I can tell, this Rally is kinda ghetto compared to all the others. Although, it still sounds fun!

The AKA Rally recently has been assigned new management due to the fact the prior manager could not handle how much this event has exploded. I feel the same way, but now under the new management everything is going smoothly. If you have any questions or would like to join the Rally, or even if you just want more information, please let me know. I personally will get you all the information you will need raqnger5oh.
Guys, this is an excellent chance to meet some very amazing people, as well as a great experience. Don't pass this up! It will only be offered at such an amazing price this year. Only $1500, and even that I can work out with you!

Yeah I hear you guys, jobs are a pain in the ***.. but it's still over 2 months ahead. Take a 4 day vaction, and a 2 day sick leave!! Under 3 days sick leave they don't usually require a note, and it doesn't kill vacation time! Hah. It's sneaky, but sometimes you have to be sneaky.
Just wanted to let you know, today we also confrimed MTVNews WILL be following the ENTIRE event, and will be on MTV and MTV.Com during the rally! So not only will you have VIP access to the hottest clubs in the country (Memphis Hollywood), and many many more, you will be at these clubs with famous rapstars (Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Lox and many more) AND!! on MTVNews!
Also, for those of you who cannot make it to Philly - and live in one of the other 4 cities (excluding LA since thats end point), and would like to tag along at one of the stops, you are more than welcome to. If you decide to continue with us, you must pay the $1500 (once again, I can work this out).
Finally, companies are MORE THAN WELCOME to join! This is a great way to advertise across the country, and reach a lot of different markets. You will be featured on MTV, as well as 3 videos, and music videos. So if any of you companies are interested, I'm sure I can work something out maybe a little better for you guys! This is going to be great for fun, as well as great marketing for companies!

so it's $1500 for a spot, $475 to get your car home, plus $xxx air fare for you to actually get home? (plus all the $ in tickets you'd accumulate

its actually not too bad considering that GUMBALL3000 is i think the biggest rallys in the world, and it is anywhere from 12-14000 to enter. and this years takes place in europe where its another 3k or so to get your car there. i intend on attending next year when they come back to the states.

I can get you in cheaper than $1500. If you decide to ship your car back, $475. And no more than $150 on a flight ticket. You also can bring one passanger.. so if you take a fellow friend, really you only play $750 for the admission.
Let me know guys, we just also locked down a few people from the past Real World, and have 2 prior Playboy models joining!! :shocked:

Hmmm, I could almost be talked into doing it. What sucks is my car is currently in CA and they are going to be shipping it back here next month. Then the following month I drive it back to California and then it gets shipped back here again? My main concern is resetting the clock that many times!

$1500 just to run with you guys??? Seams kind of steep to me. Can't we just run with you and find our own hotel? I'll figure liberally at $100/night for a hotel room. If it takes 5 nights, that's only $500. The only other things included are "prizes, parties & other surprises", I can handle myself in those areas. The only other thing you would need money for is gas, food & partying. Like I said, $1500 seems a bit high. I just hope you're not trying to overcharge my fellow clan members.
