I was making a left turn & there was a dude sitting on his Harley waiting at the light. As soon as I passed him he said, "Pus*y Car". I freely admit that I have an anger management problem, so I immediately pulled off to the side of the road and got out. He sped away of course.

I'm not trying to sound like a hard a$$, because I'm really not, but sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself......or your car!

F all these jealous idiots!

I walked out of the grocery store about 2 weeks ago, and someone had spit a flegmwad on the drivers side door. I was pissed.

what?!?! ahaha this is all so f'ing ridiculous that it makes me sick ahaha I also have an anger management problem and always drink Arizona Ice Tea (Lemon of course) and if anyone did anything similar like that to my Z, then they would get a nice big bottle to the side of their car. I live in Northern Virginia where Southern Hospitality is just a 3 hour trip down south to VA Beach but dead here. Ive gotten nothing but complements about my car and the worst thing thats happened to my Z is a bird **** on it

LOL!!! He says "Pus*y Car", then doesn't hand around to stand up for what he said? What a lame a$$!

6 month to a year ago, some Harley rider and a pickup driver got into some road rage (in San Jose, CA). To make a short story even shorter, the pickup driver rear ended the biker, and killed him. When I'm on my motorcycle, I try VERY hard not to **** off anybody.

That harley dude's days are numbered cause he forgets that there are a lot of people with anger management problems out there, probably even more severe than yourself.

One of my best friends is a Mustang nut. He came over and saw my 350z and wishes he had it instead of his 4.6. It's just laughable to be mad at anyone because of what kind of car they drive. Retarded really. Yeah, my car is nice but if I pass a guy in a SL55 I'm gonna flip out, give the guy a wave, thumbs up, whatever. Not throw my coffee on him. On the other spectrum, if I passed a guy in a VW Van with smoke belchin out the back, ducttaped windows, and seven different colors, I'm not gonna bash him. People have different cars. Why waste the energy to **** someone off by saying something negative about what they drive? Its none of your business. People have different reasons for getting different cars. If you like it, good for you. If you hate it, good for you.

But, if you SPIT on my Z....then we have a problem.

Hi friend, I really don't dislike mustangs believe it or not. In fact as far as the sound of the sweet V-8 motors, you can't match the Mustang. (and this is coming from a 4X vette owner). But my part about their envy still stays. And of course, Everybody, when you hawk at a car, every bird from coast to coast seems to get you back. (they must be our own angels watchin'). Later, Dave

I know "Mustang Guys" are a little rough around the edges but this is rediculous. I owned an 01 Cobra and one of the reasons I got rid of it was because of the negative stereo type the car had, and the scumb bags it would attract if I ever took it to a cruise night or the track. Anyone else ever have any negative responses to your 350.
Where in the chicago area do you live in?

HAha tell me about it. You can throw a rock in some places and hit five Bmw's and eight Mercedes'.
In fact, I encountered some hate when I was driving my folks benz a few years ago. People assume you're a yuppy so they give you the dirty look or mess with you. At that time in my life I was young and a little out of my mind. I even had some "illegal" weapons in my trunk in case things got a little out of hand.

I haven't been "hated" on in my Z yet. I had a newer Cobra owner tell me at a stoplight "Theres one Japanese car I wouldn't mind steering away from American for." he smiled then burnt out.

Theres no point in hating on someone's car openly unless you have some sort of inferior complex. I'd have to be extremely jealous to express any sort of hatred. Personally, I feel sorry for folks who have to act this way. You come to the conclusion that the rest of their life is probably full of inner-conflict and low self-esteem.

Whatever... as long as you enjoy your car.

OMFG I used to do this when I was younger. I haven't drank Arizona Tea in a while, but empty Arizona bottles used to be in my car all the time for situations like these. We've only had to use this 'technique' once. My passenger got the guy square in the windshield.

And I've been hit with a bottle before. The bottle didn't break, but left an imprint of a bottle on my C pillar.

I live in Cleveland where we have 3 or 4 Ford factories & a Chevy factory. The majority of the men between 25-50 drive American cars.

It seems like those of us that own imports and are true car enthusiasts will give props to American cars, but American muscle car owners will not give any respect to any of us. It's absolutely rediculous. We both are very much interested in the same hobby, but because my vehicle was made in Japan & not the U.S. you have to be an a$$hole to me. Whatever, grow up!

...as a (new) 'Z' owner and driver, all I can say is when and if -- have seen very few in my local --- encounter a fellow 'Z' -- we honk and stick the arm out the window in the 'thumbs up gesture'.

Maybe --- perhaps with that guy --- it's envy!
