Thumbs up A 350z Car Cover

Did anyone buy the Z car cover from courtesyparts.com ? Is it worth it, are there any other options that are better out there ?

I have it. I like it. There are other covers out there besides the OEM one that are cheaper, but I've never used them.

Try www.calcarcover.com They have many different types of covers to choose from, depending on how you will use the cover. I've bought from them a few times and they are top notch. They custom fit the cover to your car. Mine fits like a glove.

Where are you in NY? I have an extra California Car Cover (softweave - gray) that is about 2 months old. It cost me $169, but I'll sell it for $100. The only reason I'm selling it is I got another one (Stormweave) to protect from those damn oak tree acorns that fall on my driveway.

I think the California Car Covers are better than the OEM. The only reason the OEM is more $$$ is because it has that pretty Z on it.

That was basically why I got it.

Oh, and if you decide to get the OEM, I got mine from Performance. The cost of the cover, the cable lock, and shipping was about the same as just the cover from Courtesy.

Yeah, that Z looks nice. I just worry about some jealous punk seeing the Z will come into my driveway and do something to the car. With a plain cover, they can't tell what car it is.

I'm fortunate enough to live in an area of my development where I know all of the people who would have reason to pass my driveway. I don't even know if there are any kids in high school or college in the development.

Lucky you. I live in a nice area, but the kids are jerkoffs. They do stupid punk $hit all the time. If I catch one near my Z, you will see me on the news in handcuffs!

Yep. The other day some knucklehead drove down the street knocking over everyone's recycleable cans over. People where I live put them in the street, next to the curb, so that the cans don't ruin the grass. There was glass all over the street. I felt like chasing them down and giving them a beating, but I would have had to pull my SUV out before I could jump in the Z.

Another time these idiots shot BB dents in everyone's car fenders. Luckily they didn't get mine.

Where in Long Island? Most of Long Island is nice. In fact, Nassau and Suffolk were just ranked as the safest big city area in the US. It was followed by Middlesex-Somerset-Hunterdon, NJ. My area has no crime, just bored delinquent teenagers who like to bust *****.

Here is the link if anyone is interested http://houseandhome.msn.com/Move/Bes....aspx?GT1=3136

East Rockaway. Haha.

Oh, and Middlesex, Somerset, and Hunterdon counties are nowhere near big cities.

I think they meant that their populations added together would make them comparable to a big city in terms of population.

Check the link. It explains that the total population has to be over 500,000. 3/5 of the top 5 safest are in Jersey.

I have the OEM car cover. It fits real nice and nothing goes through it and water evaporates through it.

fblue, I know what you mean about the Z logo on the cover attracting a-holes. My car got keyed on the passenger side when the car cover was on. It ******* pissed me off a lot.

Jealous jerkoffs. I always think it's best to attract as little attention as possible.
