My car is due Tues. or Wed., so I'm sure it came in on the Hual Traveller.

Does anybody know if the ship has offloaded the cars?

I am more than a little concerned about the Port shutdown.

You may be out of luck. The Haul was due to dock today, Sunday 9/29, with cargo being available by Tuesday Oct. 1st. I had checked with the carrier's inbound department about a week ago.

I read this morning that there were at least 11 ships that had to be moored in the harbor Saturday.

I also thought my car was on this ship after my dealer called with the VIN earlier this month. Luckily mine was on the World Spirit that arrived around the 15th. I'm taking delivery tomorrow.

I really feel bad for anybody who's car is on the Haul or any ship that's already on the water. Who knows how long this situation will last.

 

Does this mean that all future deliveries will be delayed? If the ship can't dump its cargo, it can't go back to Japan to bring back more.

If the port issue really starts to look like it's going to be a long haul issue they will attempt to move the ships to either TX or maybe even Canada.

 

My car is on that boat also!!! Long Beach Nissan told me Iwould have the car today or tomorrow! It doesn't look good.
