Well, this doesn't help much, but check this place out often for updates to the Bluprints section... http://www.suurland.com/

I visit this regularly for 3 view technical drawings as references for my work as well. I use Maya for games and am doing a short film with it, -and would also enjoy playing with one of these models.

I will eventually have to build one myself, and when I do, I'll post it here. But until then, good luck on the search!

PS- If anyone even finds the 3 view drawings, post them here, as I can whip out the model of it no time if I have those..

Here are some I had from a tutorial for Lightwave. I wasn't happy with the result I got from it, so I hope someone can make a good model of it, and share it.

I'd also be interested in some elevations and a top view. Has anyone tried to insert those pictures from Rocker_lx into Autocad and just trace over them? It won't be exact, but it should be pretty close.
I'm an architect too.. almost actually.
I could probably host a link for the dwg files when it's all said and done.

Hey, just wanted to see is anyone has made any progress on the model. All of my work deals with the civil side of things. If you have any updates let us know. There are a lot more CAD jockeys here than I thought. Look forward to hearing some good news. The model on that web site actually looks pretty good. Hope we get something close to that.

Ok here is my miserable attempt at making the 350Z.

Be warned it is really a sh*tty model.

I made it with Lightwave 7.5, it has also no wheels or interior. I also converted it to 3DS format which is unfortunately over 9000 Polys heav. Perhaps someone can use it as template for a better version.

The 3ds version.

I tried to open it with 3d studio viz but all I got were the headlights, tail lights, and glass. Just going on that it looked decent though. Better than I could do right now.
