I was getting rid of the Z until ...
tonight. It was the single best night with the Z since delivery !!! I had toyed with the idea of parting her out and getting a Z06 or M3 ... but after tonights experience on the Dallas North Autobahn, she is staying together.
Picked her up from the body shop for the repainted bumper. Driving the long way home to enjoy the ride. Happened to meet up with an M3 and we proceeded to get to about 130 or so ... I was a nose ahead or so. NO this was not a kill ... this was a race that I was only hoping to not look stupid in ... mission accomplished ... plus some. The real icing on the cake for me was when he asked if I had done anything. I said I had tweaked it a bit. He reply was "Most Z's couldn't have just done that". That made my night !!!
Thing is ... Tilton Flywheel and clutch and ... umm ... Polished Vortec are next ...
