"Great Selection of Z's"
Ad in today's paper reads:
03*350Z
Great Selection!
Call now!
It showed a 1- 888 #, so I did. It turned out to be one of the three Dealers in town. The salesman who answered, told me that they had over a dozen brand new Z's available for immediate sale, for $1,500 over MSRP. This dealers inventory has not shown anywhere near that amount of cars delivered, going back to 8/30.
While it may be legal to creatively accumulate this number of cars for stock purposes, what does it do for those people who ordered or tried to order pre-order vehicles.
This doesn't show much integrity on the part of that dealer.

I've noticed some dealers have been sneaky with their verbiage in the paper. One here in New York had an ad saying 20 brand new Z's available for immediate purchase. Makes it sound like you can walk in there and pick out one of 20 Z's they have laying around. Truth is, "available for immediate purchase" techincally only has to mean that they can sell you the car. Considering the pre-order program is over and certain dealers now have a huge allotment they aren't really lying, just being intentionally misleading. Sure you can buy it immediately..... but you won't be seeing the car for several months... As far as the above MSRP price, thats a whole other story- thats just crooked in my opinion
