Wow, with the 300ZXTT I would have expected more people to lean towards tubos. I would go for NA or Supercharger as well. Factory built turbo engines rock for pushing tons of power at little cost/work but switching an NA to turbo has it's own share of ups and downs. Don't get me wrong, I know they work and seen many done on all types of cars but it usualy takes twice the work and 10x the money. Plus I don't plan to push much more than a well tuned NA engine can put out.

IMO, more care and attention is required when turbos are involved. Superchargers seem more consistent with power output and reliability; not as much constant tuning is required for a reliable setup.
Also consider the VQ block is aluminum so I wouldn't expect it to last very long w/ turbos and high boost. Power-wise, my 300 will blow the doors off my 350 so bad, it's not even funny. But, I didn't buy a 350 for its power and the increase that a supercharger, cams, and/or ecu would provide suffices for me.

They are both forced induction. If you don't know thedifference then do a search and you will find everything you need. I don't feel like explaining, my hands have done enough typing today.

Keep the car as stock as possible and NA. As I like to say: buy the performance want with the car, don't try to add it afterward.
I would like to get a project car though, to wrench on it to my heart's desire, without worrying about practicality. 1000hp and a power band from 7,000 to 8,000? I'll take it!
