NNA addresses (front) tire feathering for 2003 models...
According to the latest issue of Autoweek, Nissan will be "taking care" of the feathering issue that's been so annoying for 2003 model owners. Nissan is extending all 350Z front wheel alignment warranties to 2 years after the car's original in-service date.
Based on mileage and tire wear levels, Nissan will either pay for new tires or reimburse those who've already purchased new rubber, or pay owners a prorated portion.
Unfortunately, this only applies to 2003 models and Nissan will be sending out these notices later this month. For more details call NNA at (800) 343-0294. The article that I read is posted at autoweek.com.
Sorry if this has already been mentioned on this board...

I called NNA today to address my issue and was told "Sorry, there is nothing we can do." She suggested I pay for the alignment and if anything does come out from Nissan that they'll reimburse me. The dealer service manager told me that the alignment warranty was only good for 12000miles. Since I have 15500 it's not covered under warranty. Needless to say I'm pissed. It's not over!
