Will TPS rims/tires work on Enthusiast trimmed 350Z?
I am getting stock 18" wheels with TPS for my CS enthusiast trim 350Z. What I am trying to figure out is if the TPS sensors inside the tires will work in giving me information inside the car or will they not work...does the car need to be 'equipped' for the TPS sensors? How will I be able to read the data from the TPS? Thanks to anyone who knows!

I can tell you this won't be worth your time. The TPS' alone are about $250/each. That doesn't include the receiver module or the ECU upgrade....

There is a receiver module that picks up the signal from the TPS' and I believe sends it on to the ECU for display in the trip computer. In order for your ECU to know what to do with that signal (and subsequently display it), it would probably require an upgrade.

Good to know...I guess this is something I will ask my dealer. I am buying the stock 18" for the tires/rims, not necessarily the TPS, but I just thought that would be an added bonus. Thanks guys.
From what I understand, the TPS' have to be tied to the car, kind of like a key-fob has to be programmed. If your car already has TPS, then you just have to get the dealer to program the ECU to the new TPS'.
