Default Diecast models ?

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, I did a search but came up with nothing about diecast models on the 350Z.

Has anyone seen the diecast models available from http://www.hotworksracing.com ? You should check them out if you are into collecting quality diecast models.

Several different versions of the Z available - I think stock, NIZMO, and the Option Stream project car. All with parts that can be removed, replaced, adjusted etc.

Cost is about $30, but hey it can be a cheap way to see custom options for your car before commiting yourself Add a little Photoshop and you're set to go

The 1:64 sheriff one? I think there are better ones out there. But be careful. I started with one and now have a slowly growing collection. Haha. I even have a friend who looks for Zs for me when he looks for sh*t for himself. Haha.

Yeah thats the one. I`m sure there are better ones. I was there for something else, and saw it there so I bought it.

I`ve also seen a really cool Tamiya model kit of the 350.
I used to build model planes, and Tamiya kits were always top notch, every little detail. Although they are a fair bit more than other kits as far as price.

I'm actually working on that same kit myself right now. I've only got the chassis and wheels done right now. Just started the interior a week or so ago.

You're absolutely right about the high quality of the detail on the Tamiya kit. It takes a steady hand to paint Brembos on a rotor that's smaller than a dime.

I'm going to paint it Super Black like my own Z, but I'm undecided on the interior...I might do the seats in orange. It should make a fine addition to the Yat-Ming 1:18 scale Daytona Blue Track and White 1970 240z models on my desk.

to me, the best diecast models are by autoart... they have exceptional detailing and colours....

some of the cheaper models have really UGLY exteriour colours...the ones that kinda shine like they stuck spinkles on it... not too sure if u know what i'm talking 'bout though....

i'm planning to get a white autoart one soon... but for now, my best one is a 1:18 Silver Maisto

Here's my Yatming 350Z. This one was given to me so I decided to modify the rims. I wouldn't do this on any of my Autoart models.

The rims that I used were 1/18 HPI Micro RS4 rims.

ur Yatming's pretty similar to my Maisto one.....

hm... i wanna buy a White Autoart LHD, but i can't seem to find one.... cause first, most stores don't hold white ones, and the ones that i've found online are all RHDs....
if anyone knows where i can get it in the GTA area, let me know... thanx, JC
