My hood is not aligned (pic)
Check out the pic of the hood on my '03 nissan 350z. I bought my car new, and this has been a nuisance ever since. See how the gap on the hood narrows as it gets closer to the head light? What's funny is that the hood is aligned fine on the other side. Anyone have any idea why it's like this. I had a very reputable body shop look at the entire car twice. He doesnt think it's been hit. My father (body guy) also inspected everything and told me it hasnt. He said all the bolts (for body panels etc) have never been removed etc. Is quality control at Nissan probably to blame?
I did a search and found others had alignment issues with certain body panels to, but does any elses hood look like this???

Based on your statements that the hood alignment is proper on the other side (and presumably on the front as well) and that the car hasn't been structurally compromised, the only possibilities are that the hood is mis-shaped or that the fender is mis-aligned, not the hood. If the hood were mis-aligned, then it would show up on all 3 close-tolerance sides (front and two sides)
