when i park my z take out the key and i keep on hearing a ticking noise(around 40 second then its gone), my second problem is you know where the red light is(located on the door panel inside the the car) the light dont wont to come on, i try opening the door, turn on the light but no luck, need help i drive 04 z...

Where is this ticking noise coming from?

 

the ticking sound is your car cooling down...any super-heated engine/exhaust joints will move/expand against each other when cooling down producing a ticking noise as they do so. happens on all cars if they get pretty hot.

 

zeroday, yeah, that's my guess too. I was just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt since all cars do that.

 

This is my third car that i own and i never heard of this tricking noise until i bought a sport car, yes you are right i put my hand on the hood and it was hot i mean very hot i should take it easy, so it's only a reflector, thank you for the help you guys save me atrip to my dealer

 

Really? I've never heard a car that didn't do it at least once in a while.
