don't know, but i've been nosing for info on it too. i've seen a few folks here asking about drivetrain or hp changes. i heard that one of the changes they're making is to shave the door handles down so they're flush. curious if anyone else has info on 05's.

Copied from consumer guide: News The 2005 Z-cars get several upgrades. As with the early-arriving '05 midsize Altima sedans, Nissan answers critics by replacing cheap-looking interior trim with better-quality stuff, including soft-touch material on the dashboard and console. Also added are lower-dashboard knee pads, a padded console armrest, redesigned automatic shifter, and shoulder-belt "service arms" that eliminate the need to reach behind when buckling up. There's a sturdier center-dashboard lid too, with power operation on cars with optional navigation. Finally, the '05 Zs adopt Euro-market suspension calibrations said to give a smoother ride, plus a tandem brake booster to replace a single master cylinder.

Nissan has hinted at more available power and other enhancements for future Zs. The most likely, we think, are a supercharger option, possibly by 2006, and available all-wheel drive borrowed from the platform-related Infiniti G35 sedan.

Okay, this really needs to stop circulating since most of it is already in the 2004.5s already.

Yeah, I have a 2004.5 ( vin number over 60,000 )
I had an 03 touring and I could swear the suspension on the "old" car was stiffer. I have been afraid to mention this to anyone besides my dad!

As for horsepower improvements I doubt anything drastic in the near future, the new S-tune GT is only 300 hourse power due mainly to changes allowing higher rev ..... http://www.nismo.co.jp/complete/z_s-tunegt/index.html ....and the car is $60,000 !!!!!

They now have a turbo charged VQ35DE for the JGTC which will probably be the bases for a future hp ugrade in my opinion.

Several Reasons:
I was at the dealer for an oil change and they had a track model there. They made me a really good offer so....I was more than happy to trade the heated mirrors ( not very useful in FL ) and leather seats ( hot and sweaty in FL) for the Track (with the Brembos, rays wheels, and Nav ). Apparantly no one looking at that car was interested in it because of the nav, it sat on the lot for over a month.
