Default Z specs???

Hey guys, i was crusing WWW.NISSANZ.NET and i see this post..what do u guys think of this???

"I happen to be a friend of this lady who is Nissan's Executive in Sales and Marketing. I asked her a long time ago that if she would find out any confirmed specs of the Z within their Management, to give me a call. And today, she gave me a call saying that the final figure would be 315HP, and that's comimg from top-level management.
So there you guys, it is comfirmed of 315HP. Performance would have to wait til someone test-drives it."

could this be possible? i am sure that the car is able to pump out that much HP..but 315? mmmmm..

i personally think 315 is pushing it a little, but then again, i dont know much about this car. what do you guys think? any opinions?

God, the car is out in 3 months, why cant Nissan just put the damn final stats on their site, it is driving me insane. everyone is saying something different, who knows what this thing is gonna have. you would figure that with just 3 months to go for the car to be out, they would have the stats posted...how frustrating..lol.

I think the whole not knowing the final stats is driving everyone crazy. How could it not be? But I for one am hoping that it doesn't flop like the G35 after all the hype. I think knowing Nissan's history of producing exciting Z cars, this will be no different.

Well, I guess it is a bit unfair of me to say it has flopped. The cars are leaving dealerships around where I live almost as fast as they can stock them. I just got really excited by the hype and was extremely let down by the finished product when I went to test drive it this past Saturday. I think you should go drive it if you haven't already. Both me and my friend that went didn't get a very sporty feeling from the car. We both felt that it was like piloting a big fast awkward bubble of sorts. I know it is a fast car, it just didn't feel like it. And the the interior quality was in my opinion nowhere near what a $30k car should be. the seating was uncomfortable, and when I sat down I didn't get that drive me feeling from the car like a sports car/sports sedan should. I could go on for a long time, but i'll stop here and let you see for yourself.

Did you disable the VDC when you test drove it?

Unfortunately, Nissan/Infiniti aren't known for the quality of the interior. I think thats my biggest fear about ordering a car i have not yet seen. I hope to god that the Z doesn't have that cheap GM plastic type feel to the interior.

No, I had the VDC on. I even used both the automatic and manual shift modes of the transmission. It just didn't feel right to me. But then again, I could just be too picky. Who knows.

I think the only way the 350Z can keep up with the ZO6 would be with a NISMO supercharger.
