Ah c'mon - the pedals are fine. They should have cross drilled the Bose instead.

BTW: On the Automatic Touring do you get a drilled look brake pedal?

as a potential Z owner, I appreciate the criticisms, as these may affect my buying decision. I'm glad to hear that most of you think this car is near perfect, but the faux-drilled pedals are a valid criticism, minor as it may be.

If you think the Z is a perfect value, then good, but don't deny that you aren't at least a little dissapointed with certain features.

Hey, mydog'sapimp, (or what the hell ever)

If you don't like your pedals, find some aftermarket ones to put on and I will GLADLY take your "crappy" pedals for my base.

PM me for my address!

Yeah and I'm also pissed that the Z didn't come with 24karat gold pedals and $10k wheels. Get it?

Oh and another thing....
Why are we even posting a reply to this thread? it's not worth our time. I mean come on...how can we take a person with a name such as "Mydogscool" seriously? Here, I have a name you might want to consider........."Ineedtogetalifequickly".

Quoted by RACEBOY ---

They are just pedals and they suite their purpose just fine. I am tired of having to wade through all these useless threads to find scraps of good information.

The dealer actually told me that my pedals would be made of squid skin that still had the little suckies on it so my feet wouldn't slip when wet. Damn that dealer. Let's start a class action suit. That will show Nissan.

Wow! I was told the pedals were velcro. We are to apply the other side of the velcro to our shoes for optimum performance with "stick" ability.

The nitpicking is getting tiresome.

(squid, now that was funny!)

Yes!! And I have found it to be the finest drilled brake pedal I've ever seen! Ican actually use it to stop the car!

Boomer--this is the 2nd lamest thread I've yet seen on this site,; which seems to be sliding down to hell on a jet ski.

I was relaxing inside my home the other day when a friend came by in his 2003 S500 Mercedes. He challenged me to a quick race so I quickly accepted and ran out to my Z bare footed and all. I hopped in and sped out to a secluded area where we ran then side by side about 20 mph or so. Lets just say that I easily pulled away from him up to 90 or so where I was several car lengths ahead. He wanted more so we let it rip at about 60 or so, I steadily pulled away up to 110 or so where I decided to slow down and return home. As I am making a U-turn, I noticed my toe stinging a bit, I looked down and my foot was COVERED IN BLOOD! The damn aluminum pedal sliced my toe open and I was bleeding profusely!!!! I raced home and imediately washed my floor mat. The bottom line is, at least they are not plastic and from the looks of my toe, they provide excellent grip!!

I find that when I am driving my feet cover the pedals and I can't tell what they are made of. Am I doing something wrong?
