Preview Invite From NNA!!!
Just got a letter from the Dealer Operations Manager for San Antonio and South Texas. After thanking me for ordering the Z, they invited me to a "350Z Preview Event" at the San Antonio Hilton on June 18. 
"Please join me at the 350Z Preview Event and experience the excitement of the new Z in person."
Maybe this is what was mentioned about spending a little on us to deliver Z news? Anybody else get something like this yet?
REALLY excited now! I was going to wait to see one in person for when I picked mine up, but I can't refuse a personal invitation, can I?!?!?

Does sound cool, but how could something like that be the method they'll "spend some money" on to tell us the specs? Not everyone can go to San Antonio. Even if they had one of these in several major cities, it wouldn't be practical for every Z preorderer to go to one. Not to mention that they don't have enough cars to go around for such a show.
I just posted under the "Something new from ZISME" thread. I asked him for a hint on how they are going to let us know the specs and I asked him about the ad campaign. He said the ads start in Sept. and that we shouldn't "change our address". I assume he means they'll be mailing us something.

Definately keep us posted...Don't think any of us would pass on an invite like that...if the rest of us don't get an invite, you'll have to take notes on EVERYTHING!!!

That appears to be the end of the Caravan/trek of the Z through Texas, it is supposed to arrive in San Antonio I believe June 17 where they are having the convention at the Airport Hilton.

I got the same letter!
Just got my mail this morning and received a letter from Nissan's Southwest Headquarters ( I haven't kept up with the posts in about a week, who else has received this?). I'm congratulated for being one of the first to order a Z... blah blah blah and so on... you all get the point, but on June 18 from 12:00 Noon to'til 13:30, there will be a special presentation of the production Z on site.... this letter is required to get direct access and speak with one of their representatives.... This is in conjunction with the National Z convention. Either way, just thought it was pretty cool and thought I'd mention it. Too bad I'm working that day.... bummer!

But I doubt it matters which dealer. I got my confirmation letter a lot later than the normal time span, so y'all will probably get your invites w/in a couple of days.
It didn't say "randomly selected" or anything, so I'd assume everyone in this area will get one. Got a feeling that phone # will be clobbered Monday!

oh man u guys are SO LUCKY~ i reallly want to go too but i'm in Canada so i don't think they have such a party in here~~Anywayz, hope u guys can take a camera and record some of the presentation and maybe take some photo for the Canada preorderers~
