hmm weatherstripping around headlight isnt flush

Anyone else have this problem? Early model '03. I noticed the seal around the driver's side headlight isnt as flush on the driver's side headlight, as it is on the passenger's side headlight. The area I'm referring to is where the seal goes into the fender.
Here is a picture of the general "area" I'm referring to. You cant see in this pic, but this is where it would be not flush

ps: my hood looks mis-aligned in the picture for some reason. It really isn't in real life.

Mine is the same way on the drivers side. I think I've read on the forum before that it is to help let in more air by the intake. Not sure if that is true.

Crap. I meant mine is like that on the passengers side. The driver's side is the side thats fine. Seems like the weather stripping needs to be resecured or was installed incorrectly
